Samaritan’s Purse President Franklin Graham was interviewed on Fox News Thursday and asked for an army of volunteers to respond in the wake of Hurricane Florence. The Category 1 storm made landfall on the coast of North Carolina today, and its effects will continue through the weekend. Samaritan’s Purse will soon deploy to serve homeowners in Jesus’ Name.

You can sign up to volunteer now and will be notified with more details once our deployment locations have been determined.

Florence is expected to bring copious amounts of rain to the Carolinas, likely triggering flooding and landslides. Dangerous storm surge—12 to 13 feet—is anticipated at the coast.

Samaritan’s Purse U.S. Disaster Relief equipment is packed and ready. Our staff have been in contact with our partners in the projected storm impact areas. We now stand prepared with our volunteer teams to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Once the damage assessments are completed and deployment locations are identified, our staff will follow up with those interested in volunteering.

Please join us in praying for all those in the path of Hurricane Florence.
